                          Archangel Security & Protection expects its Officers to be highly trained and hold certifications that are industry specific.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Must be 21 years of age to apply

· Must have level 3 security license, obtained through the Texas Department of Public Safety in good standing.

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Licenses/Certifications:

· Must already be licensed as a Commissioned Security Officer (Lvl 3) by the Department of Public Safety Private Security Bureau. Must have pocket card in hand and not be expired.

· Have a valid Texas Driver’s License. If out of state license, must be able to obtain Texas Driver’s License within 60 days of hire.

· Must be certified in Heartsaver CPR or Heartcode BLS CPR by the American Heart Association (or willing to be certified upon the date of hire).

· Must be able to walk/stand with reasonable breaks for up to 12 hours.

Experience/Knowledge/Skills:

· Excellent critical thinking and reasoning skills are a must.

· Be able to demonstrate the values of Accountability, Respect, Integrity, Selfless Service, Excellence at all times when in an onstage environment.

· Must be able to read and write the English language and communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms.

· Be proficient in de-escalation techniques (TEAM/CPI preferred) be able to write concise, accurate and detailed reports, be very detail oriented.

· Being proficient in de-escalation techniques, firearms and combatives skills are a plus. (We can train you)

· Always be mentally alert and morally straight.

· Be able to communicate effectively with the client and with Archangel Leadership.

· Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office.

· Thorough knowledge of emergency equipment provided by Archangel Security & Protection as well as life safety equipment (fire extinguisher, AED, ability to read a map, building schematics)

· Ability to walk/stand 8-12 hours per day

Physical Abilities Test: (For Full Time Officers)

· Run 100 yards

· 25 unassisted pushups

· 20 body weight squats (breaking the 90°plane)

· Dummy or weighted drag for 30’

· Handcuff a suspect

· Simulate calling out your name and location

· This test will be repeated annually

Firearms Qualification:

80% or higher to pass
